doh
i took about a week off riding. only a week. and i get on the bike today and realized i had lost much of what i had already built up. in a week.
what a bunch of crap.

i had the same problem today with swimming. i lost fifteen laps off my total cause of the time off. the body just hates idleness.
hang on. haven't you played, like, a dozen soccer games this week? that should have made up for the lack of the bike.

yep - I haven't been for a ride in weeks, and I notice the lack of cardio conditioning when I walk briskly up a hill
