Shit so interesting it hurts
PhotoLink: masahisa fukase --another example of fine art that requires the viewer to take part, rather than just being visually overpowered.
photolink: interesting, highly emotive, inky blacks and something is being said, but what?
photolink: her life story, or bio, is nearly as interesting as her pictures. which are quite interesting
Photolink: i think i may have linked to this before, but who cares, it's worth a second or third or 100th look.
Link: I walked out of the theater crying, I had no shame in showing people that I was affected by this movie. I was distraught, wrecked, ruined, and I didn’t care who knew.
photolink: cosmin bumbut --fuckin brilliance. period. this photographer has the chops.
National Geographic photographer fakes photo. sweet. not good, but funny.
link: Man, let me tell you, I spent an enormous amount of energy and time trying not make a mistake and conversely trying to point out the mistakes of others. I was a bitch.
movielink: thinking about taking in wicker park? ineluctable's josh markle tells you why you shouldnt
photolink: great photoessay site. why did photoessays die? they can tell us so much about the world.
photolink: how does she get all these naked people?
PoliticsLink: and the moral assraping goes on. Straw says the UN needs to change, so that when a sovereign nation isnt looking after its own business, the UN can. Who the fuck gets to decide that? and how, if some body can be deciding, is a SOVEREIGN nation even possible?
photolink: check out the personal, and the water sections
PhotoLink: Check out the hotel series, great stuff
getting paid to blog about something? sign me up.. (link via Doc)

...as I found maintaining my gender identity, at least throughout my twenties, to be a somewhat tricky proposition
damn near every photo on this guys site kicks total ass.
--"One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind. To live a visual life is an enormous undertaking, practically unattainable. I have only touched it, just touched it."
Fred Durst Blogs? shit. 255 comments on every freakin post!
--you know i love spiders, but thus nude freaks me out.
--"I am still struck by the power of photography to strip away the bark of the mind and reveal the visceral workings underneath"
I look at these photos for the colors, honestly.
i have started smoking cigarettes because it is the only way to stop the onset of sneezing fits from second-hand smoke. Somehow, if I am killing myself on purpose, it is more acceptable to my body than letting someone else hurt my lungs.
Best use of the word cunt this week
