Your title reminds me of a "saying" a friend of mine (a Russ a matter of fact) used to ask people to "picture", which invariably leads to the brain locking up. Try "underwear fish sunsets" as a single cohesive image. Nothing ever fits. Square block in a triangular hole and all that...
Aside from that, I really appreciate the progression you were shooting for above. Individually all the photo are great (I really like the second skyscape) but they don't flow. My $0.02.

indeed, they do flow, as they are taken over the course of the day. that's the pattern, the flow, and the progression. all in one day.

perhaps i only dig the flow because i was there for most of the day, but i do dig it. could you have dropped the last shot though?
