Resident Evil: Apocalypse
"Imagine you are a soccer mom. A soccer mom having an exceptionally bad day. You realize your ass is now officially one dress size too large for the plush-all-leather-form-fitting seat of your shiny black Ford Explorer. You realize self-same Explorer is now "last year's model" because the other soccer mom's look down their perfectly sculpted noses at you when you picked little Bobby-i-get-anything-i-want up from school. Your husband calls to say he's going to be late from work, again, and you're almost certain that slurping sound was not the espresso machine. Your life is a shambles." read the full review at ineluctable.ca

Garden State
It never hurts to be the guy writing the code that decides who gets the banner article over at ineluctable. This week i decided it should be me. I hope our editor judekyle agrees.
Zach Braff, as he sits right now, wedged between fart jokes and a truly masterful command of emotional timing, has positioned himself to be this decades anti-Tarantino. He stands to undo the “glam” period of film, ushered in over a decade ago, with his scathingly real and original characters, characters who both speak and behave like someone we could’ve just walked by in Safeway, and his earnest-almost-graceful directorial style.

this week at ineluctable
Aug 17, 2004—A slow week in the movies means a slow week here at ineluctable. But that's to be expected as the summer movies wane and we enter the doldrums of fall. Only Alien vs. Predator, the long anticipated coupling of the movies' two coolest space horror franchises, stands out in the new release category, and Cowboy Smithx and Josh Markle offer their equally passionate but diametrically opposed takes.Collin Smith and Markle also give us a peek at Maria Full of Grace, the independent film that has been sweeping awards at film festivals across the world.
And we finally found someone to review Harold & Kumar go to White Castle -- our always brave Giovanna Schipani.
